Professional Salon Training for Prospective Students
Are you ready to enroll in an esthetics or cosmetology training program? Here’s what you should know about becoming a student at Brillare Beauty Institute.
Before you enroll at Brillare Beauty Institute, you should know several things. First of all, you should know that we are an accredited non-profit institution, so our loyalty is to our students, not to any stockholders. You’ll want to understand the differences between our esthetics and cosmetology programs. Additionally, discover financial aid options, such as cosmetology scholarships, that can help you afford your esthetics or cosmetology classes. Take the time to learn as much as you can about our students’ beauty school experiences and our overall atmosphere, so you can determine if we’re the right cosmetology school for you. The pages below will teach you all you need to know about these topics and more.
To study at Brillare, you must be at least 17 years old, and you must have a high school diploma or a GED. You can find out more about our eligibility requirements under Enrollment.
Brillare teaches you everything you need to know to pass your state board of cosmetology exams and esthetician exams. First, you attend hands-on esthetics or cosmetology classes in our classrooms. Once you complete your classroom hours, you move to our student-run salon and spa. After you complete your hours in our SalonSpa, you’ll perform a practice test to show you’re ready for your exams.
Brillare offers two main beauty school programs: cosmetology and esthetics. Cosmetology training prepares you to become a licensed cosmetologist, and after you earn your license, you can become a hairstylist, hair designer, and event stylist, among other occupations. Esthetics training teaches you the science of skin care as well as how to perform facials, advanced chemical peels, hair removal, light therapy, and other skin care procedures. You should find out more about each program track, so you can decide which one suits your interests, passions, and work styles.
If you want to attend Brillare Beauty Institute, you should learn about our SalonSpa offerings. Our students perform these services on our clients after they complete their classroom hours.
When you become a beauty school student at Brillare, what will a typical day of training look like? How will you interact with your esthetics or cosmetology instructors? What types of kits and equipment do you receive when you enroll in your chosen program? You can find the answers to these questions here.
