Student Services

Your drive and creativity are bursting at the seams, and we’re here to help you foster your skills. You dream of becoming a licensed cosmetologist or esthetician. At Brillare, our beauty instructors and student services set you up for success.

Brillare Beauty Institute Provides a World-Class Learning Experience

Is hair, skin, or makeup your preferred expression of creativity? If so, we have great news for you: If you’re 17 or older with a high school diploma or a GED, you’re eligible to enroll at Brillare Beauty Institute. At Brillare, our students thrive within our hands-on learning atmosphere. With the help of patient, demonstrative, and dedicated instructors, you’re uniquely positioned for long-term success and achievement within the beauty industry.

Brillare offers two main programs: cosmetology and esthetics. We perform our due diligence to help you pinpoint your niche. Whether you choose to go into cosmetology to become a hairstylist or an esthetician focusing on skin care and hair removal, you work in a classroom setting with our instructors. Using top-of-the-line tools and equipment, you’re further prepared for real-world experiences. Before you take your state board exams, we administer practice tests to measure your applied skills and knowledge. That way, you’re prepared and ready to tackle all technical challenges.

After you complete your classroom hours, you begin your salon and spa hours, working with real customers. Before you know it, you’ve completed your program, earned your certification, and built a clientele of your own as a professional.

Explore our student support services, such as:

Financial Aid

Our financial aid office helps you learn which funding options you’re eligible for through the U.S. Department of Education. Our roots date back to 1997, when Brillare Beauty Institute’s Charter received initial 501c(3) status approval as a private, non-profit educational establishment. We want to help in every way we can, so we also offer scholarships and grants for our students. Our Professional Scholarship and Alumni Grant helps cover costs of your education at Brillare. In addition to these, we accept Title IV Funding for qualifying students.

Shadowing Opportunities

You’ll naturally gain familiarity with industry-leading tools, products, and techniques during classroom sessions. When you work consistently with our partners in professional environments, many of the techniques and processes will become second nature. We encourage and help orchestrate shadowing, which is essentially working as an assistant for a day at a local salon and spa.

Shadowing is like a working interview, giving you a chance to show off your skills and attention to detail—both are vital within the beauty industry. Why wait until you’ve already graduated before you work within your field and experience real-world scenarios? Many salons are busy and fast paced. To make sure you’re comfortable and prepared for these environments, it’s best to get started as soon as you’ve reached a certain level of expertise.

Placement Assistance

We’ve cultivated many partnerships over the years with our top-tier professionals in the beauty industry. Thanks to our connections, you’re positioned to land the career of your dreams at a top-quality establishment. Once you earn your cosmetology license, your beauty career opportunities are plentiful and we are sure to put in a good word for you once you graduate.

Friends and Family Discount

You’ve probably been beautifying your buds and relatives for a while now. When you become a student at Brillare, you can invite them to your station at our student-run salon and spa. Have your friends and family schedule appointments with you so they can see how much you’ve learned and receive a discount on services you perform.

If you’re an aspiring esthetician or cosmetologist, reach out today to discuss a future at Brillare.
